WHAT'S IN MY MAKEUP BAG?

I've always enjoyed makeup since I was a little girl. Since having my kids and my hysterectomy last year, I started finding products that made me feel and look good. Being a mom to an 8 year old and 6 year old twin girls doesn't leave me a lot of time in the day to give me that me pick up, especially when I need it on days when my self esteem isn't the greatest. I've found makeup that works well for my skin, doesn't feel heavy and is easy to apply (I'm no makeup artist!) With these, I'm feel confident and ready to take on whatever the day throws at me.

Here's what's in my bag:

1) All Bright C Serum, BeautyCounter-

I love this product! It smells amazing and leaves me skin with a beautiful glow. I've noticed small white bumps on my skin starting to disappear after only a few uses. I always put this on after I wash my face (morning and night) SO worth every penny!

2) Talkin' Flirty Artistry Palette by Morphe-

I've never owned a better set of eyeshadow in my life! Each color is vibrant and buildable. I even use one of the shades as an eyeliner and it stays put all day! The pigment is gorgeous and very high quality.

3) Maybelline New York Volum' Express The Colossal Big Shot Washable Mascara-

I have really sensitive eyes and I've tried a lot of different mascaras, both high end and drug store brands. This mascara goes on thick, gives me volume and makes my lashes stand out. While I like this mascara, I'm not totally impressed by it like I hoped I would be. Still a great product and I recommend it to those who want an affordable product to lengthen their lashes.

4) Illuminator in Pearl, Seint

When I first got this, I wasn't sure how much I would like it. But, I LOVE IT. It adds extra shimmer and shine to my skin and gives me an overall polished look. I'm on my second tin of this and I will be a longtime customer because the product is that amazing. I've tried other items from Seint and I have not been disappointed. A great addition to your makeup bag!

5) Color Crush Lipstick in Taipei Orchid, The Body Shop-

I got this lipstick as a gift from a family member and I had previously never tried the lipstick by The Body Shop. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it goes on and how beautifully vibrant the color was. It has been a favourite of mine for over a year now and when this one is finished I will be ordering more!

6) Burt's Bees, Beeswax Lip Balm-

I've been using this brand for YEARS, I have grown to love their other lip balms, especially the Hydrating Balm. I live in a dry place so this is truly a lifesaver and this type is one that my picky daughters will actually use.

7) Cheeky Clean Cream Blush in Chai, BeautyCounter-

This weightless cream blush has quickly become a must have in my makeup bag. It's buildable and I've used it on my lips as well. A little goes a long way with this blush and I've barely made a dent in it since I bought it. I love that the case it comes in can be reusable and I can buy just the refill next time. I'm impressed by the green initiatives by BeautyCounter and their mission to make makeup clean for all. Great product, so many gorgeous colors to choose from, you will LOVE this blush!

8) Rimmel London Radiance Brick Bronzer-

This is another longtime loved product that I keep coming back to over the years. When they say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" and that's exactly how I feel about this bronzer! I self tan every once and awhile but when I don't, I use this to give me extra color and shine. It's easy on the wallet and looks great, if you want a fabulous bronzer, this is the one to get!

I hope you loved getting a peek at my makeup bag! Let me know if you try some of them out, I'd love to hear what you think!

Have a great day!
